CHARTER CRUISE BOOKINGS

How do I confirm or “book” a Be You! Charter Cruise? 

​Please go to the Be You! website booking page at www.beyoucreate.com/book-online. Click “Be You! Charter” and choose the option that you prefer. We encourage you to first click “Read More” under your preferred option for more information. If you are already familiar with the various options, you can simply click the orange “Book Now” button and begin the online booking and purchase process.

When are your charter cruises available?

​​

Charter cruise dates are available from April 1st through November 30th at the dates and times listed in the online booking process. To review available dates and times, (1) Go to website booking page at www.beyoucreate.com/book-online, (2) click  “Be You! Charter” (the page may already default to this option), (3) find the group option that applies to you (e.g. 'Large parties of 9+,' 'Parties of 6-8,' 'Groups of 3-5,' and 'Couples Only.'), and (4) click the orange “Book Now” button under that group option. The available dates and times will appear for your review, browsing, and selection. 'Charter Cruises' and 'Charter and Paint Cruises' have the same availability.

How long does a charter cruise last?

​​

Each charter cruise lasts for approximately 2 hours.

Can I extend the time of my charter cruise?

​​

Time extensions of up to 2 additional hours are allowed, subject to our availability. For each additional hour for charter cruises, the charge is $350 per additional hour. Please request time extensions at least 48 hours before the scheduled booking start time.

How late can we make changes to our booking without additional cost?

Tour booking service reductions or date/start time changes: Because our staff has to be scheduled weeks in advance for charter tours, (i) changes by a client to their booking date to another available date and/or start time modifications or (ii) service reductions, such as time reductions or reductions in group size or other requested services, for a booked charter tour must be made at least ten (10) days or 240 hours before their charter tour start time or, at our discretion, (a) the deposit and tour may be forfeited or (b) you will be charged a $150 fee.

Tour booking service increases: Any modifications to increase the services of the booking, e.g. time extensions, the addition of a paint party to a charter cruise, and additional guests, must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time of the booking. Any such changes made within 48 hours of the start time of the booking may be allowed, subject to availability, but a $125 modification fee will be assessed.

If I cancel or postpone my booking, can I apply my deposit to another booking?

Because we have to assign our staff many weeks ahead, if you cancel your booking less than 2 weeks (14 days or 336 hours) before your charter tour date and time, your deposit and your tour will be forfeited and cannot be applied to another booking. If you cancel or postpone your tour prior to two weeks of your booking, your deposit can be applied to another tour provided it occurs during the same year of your initial booking.

Can groups and couples bring their own food and beverages?

You may bring your own beverages. For food and desserts, at least 7 days prior to your tour date and preferably at the time of booking, please order and select from the menu on our 'Food and Dessert' drop down tab under 'Book Now.' We will provide you ice for your beverages as mentioned above.

Can groups and couples bring their own alcoholic beverages?

Yes. We do not provide alcoholic beverages but you are welcome to bring your own. Except, no red wine is allowed due to staining.

Is smoking or hookah allowed?

No smoking is allowed. No hookah is allowed either.

Can we bring candles and light them during boat charter tours?

No, no fire of any kind is allowed on the pier or on the boat.

There will be an option for you to choose to add a painting session to your charter cruise.

When are your charter and paint cruises available?

Charter cruise and paint dates are available from April 1st through November 30th at the dates and times listed in the online booking process. How long does a charter and paint cruise last?

Approximately 2 hours. The paint party session will occupy about 40 minutes of your 2-hour time period.

Where will the painting occur?

The painting session will occur on the pier of the marina right next to the charter boat and right on the water. You will have an amazing view while you paint and sail. We will set up everything for you in a fun, relaxing, and safe environment.

MOBILE PAINT PARTY BOOKINGS

If you are already familiar with your selection, you can simply click the orange “Book Now” button and begin the online booking and purchase process.  Mobile Paint Parties must be in groups of 10 or more, up to a maximum of 25 guests. 

When are your mobile paint parties available?

Mobile paint party dates are available year around To review available dates and times, (1) Go to website booking page at www.beyoucreate.com/book-online, (2) click on "Mobile Paint Parties," and (4) click the orange “Book Now” button under that group option. The available dates and times will appear for your review, browsing, and selection. 

How long is a mobile paint party?

Each mobile paint party lasts for approximately 2 hours.

For mobile paint parties, do you provide food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages?

No, the client group provides the food and beverages, but we bring the fun!  We will have all of the paint supplies that you will need to have a wonderful experience. You can provide your own alcoholic beverages.

Can I extend the time of my mobile paint party?

Time extensions of up to 2 additional hours are allowed, subject to our availability. For each additional hour for mobile paint parties, there is an additional group total charge of $200 per hour. Please request time extensions at least 48 hours before the scheduled booking start time.

How late can we make changes to our mobile paint party without additional cost?

Because our staff has to be scheduled weeks in advance for mobile paint parties, (i) changes by a client to their booking date to another available date or (ii) time reductions or reductions in group size for a booked party must be made at least seven (7) days or 168 hours before their paint party start time or the deposit and mobile paint party may be forfeited or a $150 fee may be imposed.

Any other modifications to the booking, e.g. time extensions, start time modifications, and additional guests, must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time of the booking. Any such changes made within 48 hours of the start time of the booking may be allowed, subject to availability, but a $125 modification fee will be assessed.

PRICING AND GROUP OPTIONS

What are your group sizes and prices for charter cruises?

Depending on the boat a client chooses, groups of 9 or more are $125-to-$150 per person; groups of 6-8 are $150-to-$180 per person; groups of 3-5 are $175-to-$210 per person; and couples are $475-to-$675 per couple. There is a $25 per person ($50 per couple) additional price if a paint session is included with your charter cruise. Thursdays through Sundays are prime spots and are reserved for Groups 6-8 and 9 or more in size.

What are your group sizes and prices for mobile paint parties?

​For mobile paint parties, the maximum group size is 25 people and the minimum size is 10 people. The cost is $55 per person.

Can I have a pricing example?

​​

Pricing example: A group of 6 people books a 2-hour charter cruise with a paint party session on the LUXURY boat. The group would pay 6 persons x $150 base rate, which equals $900, plus the $25 per person paint session price of $150 (6 persons x $25 = $150), which equals $1050.

When is final payment required?

​​

Final payment must be made no less than 7 days (168 hours) before the start time of the charter cruise or in-house paint party and shall be paid online. Past due balances may subject a scheduled charter cruise or in-house paint party for immediate cancellation. Payment for hand painted wine glasses must be made in full at the time of receipt of the invoice. The invoices for all of our services will include additional information about the final payment instructions.

Do you give refunds?

No, there is a strict 'No Refunds' policy. 

Note: Bookings on federally-recognized holidays, plus Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, and Valentine's Day require a 50% premium increase on the total price.

DEPOSITS

Is a deposit required for a charter cruise?

Yes, at the time of booking, the website will prompt you to pay a deposit to confirm your booking date and time.​ For charter cruises, for couples a $200 deposit is required. For groups of 3-5, an amount equal to $50 per person is required at the time of booking. For groups of 6-8, an amount equal to $30 per person is the required deposit at the time of booking and for groups of 9-12, an amount equal to $25 per person is required at the time of booking.

Is a deposit required for a mobile paint party?

Yes. For mobile paint parties, an amount equal to $20 per person is required at the time of booking. 

Are deposits refundable?

​​

No, deposits are non-refundable. There is a strict 'No Refunds' policy for any payments, including deposits.

If I cancel my booking, can I apply my deposit to another booking?

Because we have to assign our staff many weeks ahead, if you cancel your booking less than 2 weeks (14 days or 336 hours) before your charter tour date and time, your deposit and your tour will be forfeited and cannot be applied to another booking.

Note: Once your booking is confirmed, we will electronically send you an invoice that details the remaining online payment required.

ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS

​Are children allowed to be in a group booking a charter cruise?

​​

Yes, they are. Children under the age of 13 must wear a U.S. Coast Guard approved children’s life jacket. Children under the age of 4 must wear a U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket appropriate for an infant, toddler, or young child. Client groups with children should provide notice of their ages during booking in the "Notes" section. There is no charge for children ages 2 and under.

For the charter cruises, can we connect to Bluetooth audio and bring music to play during the 2 hours?

Yes, you can! We have Bluetooth ready audio that can connect with your phone or other device if you bring music that you would like to have played. We encourage you to do so.

If I would like to request potential accommodations for disabled guests, how do I do so?

Any client seeking accommodations for disbabled guests must contact Captain QT and Be You! staff at least 14 days prior to the client's boat tour date at nashawn@beyoucreate.com or 301-789-8347 to determine which accommodations can be provided.

What happens if the boat has mechanical challenges? 

While it is very rare, mechanical challenges can arise before your boat charter tour date. If a mechanical issue requires postponement of your charter tour, we will expeditiously reschedule your tour for the next available date

For the charter cruises, what happens if there is inclement weather or other 'Acts of God?'

​​

If there is inclement weather preventing the charter cruise from occurring, we will promptly give the group a new date.

What are Captain QT’s credentials?

​​

Captain “QT” Nashawn Taylor is a U.S. Coast Guard-credentialed master boat captain, certified by the United States Coast Guard. She has over 10 years of boating experience. Captain QT is also a trained marine diver. Captain QT is also a talented artist and loves to lead groups in paint parties, where she shows you how to paint your own wine glass as you enjoy the great water view on the marina pier. Our team will provide you the supplies and instruction that you need so that each person in your group, no matter how new to painting, will have their own painted wine glass by the end of the painting session.
